BioI shouldn’t, but I do, I mourn the death of a little girl. A little girl that didn’t know what she was doing with her life. For a second will you join me? Mourn the death of a slut, a liar, a backstabber, a fuck up. Raise your glass to the death of an addict, a girl that you couldn’t love.
That little girl wanted to grow up to do something about everything that she couldn’t stand. She wanted a direction, she wanted a purpose but she didn’t want their plan so she chose to take her life.
Maybe there’s a little something to be learned from her that I can’t think of now. Everyone has some effect on this world, someone will remember them. I think that me writing about her now and you reading this proves it. Still I was a little closer to her then you all could ever hope to be. I won’t pretend that I ever understood her or what she did.
Should we not care what other people think? The simple answer to that is yes. Now take a second to think about it, your family, your friends, everyone’s looks of disappointment, the looks that this little girl was all too familiar with. Is it fair to not care what the people who love you the most think?
Or maybe, just maybe, there isn’t a single thing that you should take from her death. Everything that she thought and felt should be left six feet under with her, just maybe.
Suicide is selfish, that’s what they told her before she was gone. Still, with her it was different. We didn’t lose someone that should be missed. She won’t be missed. I guess that it’s fitting that her death reflected a little bit of her life.
There is something to be said about my strange fascination with what she used to be, what I used to be. I just don’t know what it is.
